Job Title: Systems Administrator Senior – TS/SCI Required Location: Onsite – Ft. Our work depends on you joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). How a Systems Administrator Senior Will Make an Impact: Responsible for system administration, installation, and operational support of voice and data communications hardware and software systems. Assigns personnel to various projects, directs activities, and evaluates their work. Ensures long-term systems operations and administration requirements are included in the organization's overall information systems planning. Responsible for computer software installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity. Implements operating system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance. Performs systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and other local area system administration functions. Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems. Designs, develops, implements, tests, debugs, and maintains communications systems. Performs configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems and implements incident response procedures during security breaches. May provide leadership and direction to a team of specialists. Reviews customer requirements and recommends changes to existing technical architecture, complying with prescribed customer, industry, and agency standards. Supports IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution. Provides support for escalating and communicating status to agency management and internal customers. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s with 10 years of experience. Required Skillset: In-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems. Detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Proficiency in configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems. Experience with system administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Knowledge of operating system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance. Ability to implement incident response procedures during security breaches. Security Clearance Level: Must have an active TS/SCI (candidates that do not possess an active TS/SCI will not be considered). Required Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required before support on contract. IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security or equivalent. Computing Environment: MSCA 2016, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent (Must obtain the full AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 180 days from start date). Location: On Customer Site. Additional Requirements: Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract. Position may require lifting of objects (i.e., IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e., plugging in cables), and other moderately strenuous activities.
