Job Summary: In this role, you will perform high-precision assembly tasks with a focus on welding and fabrication, supporting the production of advanced aerospace components. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong technical background in welding, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform precision welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring adherence to engineering blueprints and technical specifications. Assemble and align high-tolerance components, including metal structures and aerospace-grade materials, using advanced welding techniques. Operate specialized welding and fabrication equipment such as TIG/MIG welders, plasma cutters, and CNC machines. Conduct inspections and tests on welded and fabricated components to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address assembly challenges and recommend improvements to processes. Maintain and ensure compliance with cleanroom and safety protocols during the assembly process. Document all assembly and inspection activities in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in welding or fabrication (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in precision welding and fabrication, preferably in the aerospace or defense sectors. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and weld symbols. Expertise in TIG and MIG welding, particularly with aerospace materials like aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Experience with lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
