Clayton Services is searching for an HSE Manager to join a thriving company in Conroe, Texas. The HSE Manager will be responsible for planning and managing company-wide health, safety, and environmental processes to ensure compliance with regulations, achieve objectives, and improve customer value while reducing operating costs Job Type: Direct-Hire Pay Rate: $90,000 - $120,000/annually Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO and more HSE Manager Responsibilities: Develops and administers the annual HSE business plan and budget for cost-effective operations. Oversees HSE program effectiveness and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Participates in inspections, audits, training, and incident investigations to enhance safety performance. Reviews risk assessments and makes necessary adjustments to equipment and work methods. Implements and regularly measures safety KPIs (e.g., TRIR, DART) across the company. Maintains records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Analyzes incident causes and health hazards for management use. Consults with leadership on equipment design and HSE processes. Alerts managers and employees about hazards in dangerous work conditions. Oversees incident investigations and prepares materials for legal and insurance purposes. Compiles and submits required incident reports to various stakeholders. Creates and coordinates training programs to enhance HSE practices and safety awareness. Maintains HSE documentation and records. Uses process control to improve HSE standards and reviews customer HSE compliance. HSE Manager Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge and experience with OSHA, drug/alcohol testing programs, and driver safety/MVR monitoring. Interpersonal relationship and leadership skills is a must. Must be a self-starter with the ability to take direction from executive staff. Must have exemplary knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations governing safety, compliance, and environmental requirements Must be able to travel 5% with overnight stay. Must be an excellent manager committed to developing the workforce and operating safely. Must be able to delegate effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to possess excellent reasoning and analytical abilities. HSE Manager Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in HSE, Occupational Safety Management, Safety Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of work experience in HSE, including 5 years of experience managing HSE professionals. Health and safety experience with DOT, manufacturing and/or services environment, and drilling rigs are preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
