Inventory Control Coordinator

Position: Inventory Control Coordinator Location: Miami, FL Duration: 3 months contract 3rd Shift 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Sunday to Thursday Pay rate $25.30/hr on w2 Job Description: Responsible for knowledge of all warehouse inventory and shipping processes and ensures that all procedures are followed, improved upon as the need arises, and procedures are kept up to date. Perform department activities to achieve organizational goals, shipping accuracy, shipping to schedule and material handling. Accurately perform cycle count activities. Performs analysis and corrects cycle count discrepancies, regularly audits locations to ensure quality and accuracy and document results. Support manufacturing by staging manufacturing materials according to order requirements ensuring delivery of said materials in alignment with the manufacturing schedule. Connect with planning/purchasing to gain awareness of inbound volume and of materials to ship. Process in-house material requests in an expedited fashion. Support Practical Process Improvement (PPI) at the site as applicable to work area and scope of responsibility. Develop and complete continuous improvement initiatives. Able to cross train as assigned. Performs other duties, projects, as assigned. EDUCATION: High school diploma/GED. Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) Proficiency in MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software platforms. Strong written and oral communication skills.
