As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to take charge of our Human Resources department, ensuring that our workforce remains motivated, productive, and aligned with our business objectives. Position Overview: The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the organization's human resources strategies and initiatives in alignment with our overarching business goals. As the leader of the HR team, you will act as the primary liaison between employees and management, ensuring efficient operations, a high level of employee satisfaction, and compliance with legal requirements. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices. The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role, providing full-cycle Human Resources support to our organization. Key Responsibilities: Partner with management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions that achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results. Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment efforts. Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities, address and resolve employee issues, and drive culture change. Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, ensuring a balance in representing all parties’ interests. Assess the business unit’s human resources training needs and conduct individual and group training sessions as appropriate. Implement, administer, and interpret corporate policies, programs, and procedures. Provide leadership in employment practices, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Partner with managers to retain, develop, and motivate employees to achieve their fullest potential. Develop and implement innovative solutions for employee engagement initiatives within the company. Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources matters, policies, and procedures. Create and implement compensation strategies that align with market trends. Oversee compensation activities, including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions, and job re-leveling. Administer the company’s benefits plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Ensure the integrity of HR data within the HRIS system (Paycom) and support Finance with payroll preparation and processing. Lead, supervise, and mentor the HR team to foster professional growth and high performance. Basic Qualifications: 8 years of HR management experience, with a proven track record of supporting medium-sized organizations (200 employees). Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports and HR teams. Advanced business and HR acumen, with strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative. Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in building processes and procedures, particularly in manufacturing environments. Senior SPHR or SHRM certification preferred. Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, Paylocity, ADP) and experience supporting manufacturing organizations. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with high-quality document and report preparation. In-depth knowledge of employment laws such as ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other federal and state regulations. Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team member and build a positive work environment across the organization. Experience in entrepreneurial environments that require strong multi-tasking abilities. Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred. Demonstrated success in stretch assignments that reflect superior performance in previous roles. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.
