Senior Buyer Opportunity Inpria Corporation, a JSR company, is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Buyer to join our innovative and dynamic team. This hands-on role is vital to our R&D-intensive manufacturing operations, which deliver advanced technical solutions to semiconductor customers worldwide. As Senior Buyer, you will manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services under the most favorable terms while fostering strong supplier relationships and ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams. This position requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving procurement excellence. You will play a key role in shaping purchasing strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting production needs through efficient supply chain management. Primary Responsibilities Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Optimize ERP/MRP system usage with standardized workflows. Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors. Collaborate with Logistics and Planning to ensure material availability for production. Prepare and distribute reports to support decision-making across departments. Analyze data to drive procurement decisions and evaluate supplier performance. Research and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability. Address issues with defective or unacceptable goods or services. Monitor and evaluate contract performance, making adjustments as necessary. Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve delivery issues. Stay informed on market conditions, price trends, and supply chain developments. Develop and maintain SOPs for procurement processes. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing or buyer roles; APICS certification preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated expertise in supply chain and inventory management processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software systems. Excellent negotiation, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
