Responsibilities: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements. Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar applications. Set up/Operate CNC machines including loading materials, installing cutting tools, and configuring machine parameters. Perform test runs to ensure that CNC programs are accurate and meet quality standards. Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications and make adjustments as necessary. Inspect finished components to verify conformance to quality standards and make adjustments as required. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Maintain documentation of CNC programs, tooling specifications, and machine settings. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for CNC programming (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360). Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and cutting parameters. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T), and technical specifications. Experience with a variety of CNC machines such as lathes, and Mills Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules. Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
