Computer Numerical Control Machinist

We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist/Programmer to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (multi-axis lathes, and mills) according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Program CNC machines using software such as [Mastercam, SolidCAM, etc.]. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Inspect and measure finished products using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications. Troubleshoot issues related to machine performance, tooling, or programming. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards. Qualifications: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and CNC Programmer (Minimum [3] years). Proficiency with CNC programming software (e.g., [Mastercam, G-Code, etc.]. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong understanding of precision machining and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with manual machining is a plus. Knowledge of machine tooling and setup procedures. Aerospace Background is a Plus Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required). CNC Machining/Programming Certification or Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related field (preferred).
