New Coordinator role at Prestigious Hedge Fund (Santa Monica) Compensation: $100k-125k bonus Our client, a long/short equity hedge fund, is looking for an educated, junior candidate with a strong interest in finance. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with the best minds in their field, in a stunning setting. The firm has a focus on investments in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors, and manages $8 billion in assets on behalf of individuals, nonprofit organizations and institutional investors. This role is 5 days on-site in their offices based near Santa Monica. POSITION / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This person will support 2-3 Investment Analysts manage office operations Calendar management and coordinating travel arrangements Phone coverage, correspondence and updating contacts Administrative support for analysts Procure and screen research for investment staff Manage relationships with sell-side brokers, research analysts and Investor Relations professionals at the companies we follow Ad hoc research projects QUALIFICATIONS: BA or BS in Business or Liberal Arts from a top university with a history of academic achievement 1-3 years of post-collegiate work experience, preferably in financial services Outstanding verbal and written communications skills Meticulous attention to detail Strong work ethic and desire to excel in a dynamic work environment Team player Advanced ability in Microsoft Office products; familiarity with Bloomberg a plus You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate .
