THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION Mon.-Thu. 4:00pm - 2:30am ET Company Information: Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia, Inc. (TACG), established in 2004, is a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO). TICO is a leading global manufacturer of automobile parts and assemblies, material handling equipment, and provider of logistics solutions. TACG specializes in the manufacturing of automobile air conditioning compressors. TACG is based in Pendergrass, Georgia. This position is on-site at TACG 1000 Valentine industrial Parkway, Pendergrass GA 30657. Department Purpose: Human Resource (HR) department performs human resource management functions, such as finding, hiring, training, and supporting new employees. As a result, HR departments are responsible for such important tasks as reviewing resumes, keeping track of employee information, and ensuring a company complies with labor laws and employment standards. Position Purpose: Responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. Main Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Assess and propose continuous improvement strategies following a plan, do, check act (PDCA) process. Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA Complies with all company policies and procedures Qualifications - Required: Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Experience in associate relations required Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is required Experience in New Hire onboarding, orientation, and entry required Recruitment/Talent Management Systems required Proficient in written and spoken English required Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural, team oriented environment required Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required Qualifications – Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred 3-5 years of Human Resource, experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-CPS, or PHR preferred General knowledge of benefits administration and payroll processing preferred Essential Functions /Abilities: Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong analytical skills Problem identification ad solving skills High level off prioritizing and organizing skills Ability to multi-task in a fast pace and deadline driven environment Ability to maintain professionalism and positive service attitude at all times Attitude of treating all associates and customers and dignity and respect Additional Responsivities: The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel He employee must occasionally lift and/or more at least 10 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Supervision: This position reports to the Human Resource Manager and will have significant working relationship to Toyota Industries Corporations’ Associates.
