Indian Hills Country Club of Marietta, GA is looking an experienced General Manager. This is a highly professional management position that provides leadership, direction, oversight, and evaluation of multiple departments and their impact on members, guests, employees, the general community, and the financial performance of the Club. Our current General Manager will be transitioning to the role of Chief Operating Officer within the company. As an invaluable resource, he will provide guidance and support to ensure a successful integration for the incoming candidate. Indian Hills Country Club is family-oriented private country club located in East Cobb County. The club features 27 holes of golf, open seven days per week, with extensive practice facilities. There are also eight tennis courts, three swimming pools, and a beautiful clubhouse featuring excellent dining and year-round social events. The General Manager will be responsible for upholding and enhancing the club’s high standards of excellence. This individual will be instrumental in maintaining the club's esteemed reputation for delivering extraordinary Member-centered experiences. The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism in every facet of their role, seamlessly managing operations, and ensuring alignment with the Club's values and goals. The General Manager should have a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of all operating departments including significant golf experience. One should possess excellent managerial skills including leadership, excellent time management, and attention to detail. Successful candidates will have: 10 years’ experience in golf, a current member of the PGA, CMAA Certification, and previous country club experience preferred. A degree in Hospitality or Business Administration. Prior success and experience operating a multi-recreational facility including golf, tennis, pool, agronomy, and top-quality food and beverage dining experience. Budgeting development skills, strategic planning skills, must demonstrate financial acumen, and have proven business development experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and exhibit the ability to act as a servant leader, and communicate with a diverse group of members, guests, and staff.
