Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,501 per week

Certification Details BLS Job Details Performs mammographic procedure on In/Outpatients according to department protocols. Reviews prescriptions, history questionnaires, and patient records prior to exams for radiologist interpretation. Practices universal precautions and aseptic technique. Processes images using the PAC system and ensures work lists are cleaned up daily. Utilizes Breast reporting system (PenRad), EMR, and PACS systems. Analyzes acquired images for proper positioning and identification, repeating if necessary. Maintains cleanliness and adequate supply levels in the work area. Works in conjunction with Ultrasound for patient flow through both modalities. Performs bone density scans and understands results. Assists with needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies, if trained. Practices ALARA principle for radiation protection. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience. Able to perform screening and diagnostic mammography. Additional Details Preferred Skills & Experience: Ability to perform DEXA and Biopsy procedures is a plus.
