Travel Mammography Tech - $2,774 per week in Hackensack, NJ

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Job Specialty: - Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. 5x8 hours. Every other weekend. No Holidays. No on call. Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Experience: Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist License: Active Diagnostic Radiography License Certifications: Must have ARRT. Must obtain mammography certification within the first three months of employment. Must-Have: English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write) Job Description: - Perform mammography examinations following ACR requirements. - Assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic guided procedures. - Conduct diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients professionally and efficiently. - Perform mammographic imaging for breast needle localization and stereotactic procedures, including setup and cleanup. - Assist in procedures using ultrasound guidance, providing immobilization devices, selecting technical factors, and operating equipment for specific procedures. - Identify patient films with correct information and develop films using processing methods. - Complete patient requisitions with required details. - Assist with quality control procedures and document various tests and cleanliness checks, as delegated. - Assist in BSE instruction and other patient education, including pre and post-procedure instructions. - Prepare cases to be imaged, including chart and films. - Assist with compiling statistics for patient follow-ups, tracking breast localizations, biopsies, and ultrasound examinations. - Document procedures for compliance with regulatory standards for mammography. - Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and/or primary caregivers, considering their specific needs. - Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
