Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License 1 Verification Job Details 13 or 26 week contract option and 36 or 48 hr option Observation Unit - The Observation Unit provides care to patients who require evaluation and treatment for a period of time between 8 and 48 hours. Some conditions that may require observation include chest pain, asthma, abdominal pain, kidney stones, and minor infections. IV antibiotics, fluids, Insulin drips, Nitro for Blood Pressure, TP and Lipids. Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware). Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN 2 years of prior Telemetry experience pref (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital) Drips are required on all floors First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center) EPIC charting experience required Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus) 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY Job Requirements BLS, ACLS, NIH required Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility) Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out. RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion. Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift).
