Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will support the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting processes, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for contributing to a growing organization. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. Accounts Payable: Process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Reconcile accounts payable. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Monitor variances and report discrepancies to management. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving internal accounting processes. Support implementation of new accounting software or system upgrades. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1 plus years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise). CPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required). Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
