Certification Details BLS ACLS for Medsurg with cardiac care State Nursing Licensure Job Requirements Must have experience: Ok for first-time travelers Prefer experience with trach and BiPAP, not required Experience with Lasix preferred, not a must RN not required to read and interpret telemetry strips Schedule Information Shifts: 0700-1930, 1900-0730 Every other weekend requirement Holiday Requirement: As needed No Call or Standby requirement Will consider block scheduling if unit needs are met Self-scheduling option unspecified Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 31 Nurse to Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Strokes, HTN, COPD, Cellulitis, CHF, A fib non RVR, Chest pain, MI after ICU, AMS/behavioral, surgical overflow Charge Nurse present on each shift Nurse aids/patient care techs present RT Equipment: BiPAP stable, trachs established with blow by oxygen Tele/monitor techs present on the unit Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Lasix, Heparin Floating Requirements: will float to other MedSurg units, ER holds occasionally Additional Details Great unit culture and teamwork Family oriented unit Want travelers to feel supported Radius Rule: 50 miles Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract)
