Job Description: The Vice President for Strategic Enrollment and Retention Management will play a critical role in leading efforts to grow undergraduate and graduate enrollment and drive efforts to strengthen retention, persistence, and graduation rates for the College. The Vice President will be data-driven to develop progressive admissions and retention initiatives that help ensure the College's future success. The Vice President will be instrumental in driving increases to new enrollments, retention, persistence, and graduation rates by developing and implementing comprehensive, collaborative, and student-centered enrollment strategies. The Vice President will oversee and lead the division's ongoing development and execution of a strategic enrollment plan integrated with the College's mission, vision, and strategic plan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serves as the chief enrollment officer and provide leadership and supervision to the Associate Vice President for Admissions and Financial Aid. Provides leadership to the bursar and the Office of Student Accounts to develop and implement sound strategies for growing net tuition revenue while ensuring students and families meet their financial responsibilities to the College. Lead the initiative to build a student one -stop model for enrollment services for the entire campus. Provides leadership to the staff within the Center for Navigating Educational Success Together (NEST) which includes Academic Success Advising, Noonan Tutoring Services, ACE (AIC Core Education program for first-generation students), and the Saremi Center for Career Development. Collaborates with College leadership to develop new strategic plans and initiatives and enhance existing plans and initiatives aimed at improving enrollment; revenue from enrollment; student success and retention; and persistence and graduation rates at the undergraduate, graduate, and certificate levels. Serves as the primary point of contact with external enrollment management partners. Utilizes data analytics and assessment tools to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities related to enrollment and academic success, and develop strategies to address them. Serves as a member of the President's Cabinet, providing strategic direction and leadership to advance the College's enrollment and student success initiatives, while also helping to guide the overall direction and leadership of the College. Pursues changes to policies and practices that create access for students and promote student retention, persistence, and graduation, ensuring that the needs of diverse student populations are met. Fosters collaboration and partnerships with Academic Affairs and Student Life, Athletics, the Office of Institutional Assessment, Research, and Effectiveness, and external stakeholders to create a seamless and integrated network of support for students. Partners with the Office of Marketing and Communications to robustly brand the institution. Develops and manages departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and seek external funding opportunities to support student success and retention and persistence initiatives. Stays abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in student success, retention, and persistence and integrates them into departmental planning and programming. Acts as the representative for enrollment-related matters to the President's Cabinet, the Board of Trustees, and other relevant bodies as requested by the president. Requirements: Required: Master's degree in education, student affairs, counseling, or a related field. At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration, focusing on enrollment management, including admissions, financial aid, student success or related areas. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated leadership ability. Extensive experience in developing and implementing successful enrollment programs across the entire student lifecycle, from admissions through to graduation, with a history of achieving measurable outcomes. In-depth knowledge of and proficiency with enrollment management software systems, with the ability to leverage these tools for enhanced operational efficiency and strategic planning. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use it to inform decision-making and strategy development. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with and effectively motivate diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience working with diverse student populations. Proven experience in supervising and developing staff, with a strong track record of managing budgets effectively and allocating resources to support strategic objectives. Knowledge of current trends, research, and best practices in enrollment management.
