Position Overview: The Site Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), welding inspections, and related documentation on the assigned site, turnaround, or project(s). This role serves as the primary interface between TIMEC supervision and client inspection personnel. The Site Quality Control Manager ensures that all work is conducted according to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. They play a crucial role in managing the verification and documentation of work, leading QA/QC personnel, and coordinating with sub-contract inspection teams. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Weld Inspection and Tracking Inspection and oversight of welding operations. Creating and updating weld maps. Assigning weld numbers. Defining NDE requirements per client and TIMEC procedures. Maintaining welder RT percentage log. Coordinating NDE. Coordinating Heat Treatment. Development of final QC packages. Flange QC Maintaining the Flange QC process. Assigning Flange QC cards. Tracking location of flanges to be QC’d. Coordinating inspection of gasket surfaces. Final sign-off of Flange QC card. Positive Material Assurance & Control (PMAC) Maintaining the PMAC process Issuing PMAC tags Insuring compliance of proper PMAC procedures Tracking location of PMAC tags Updating the PMAC log Code Welding Communication with the Authorized Inspector Development of all code travelers Development of code procedures Sign-off of all hold points and final inspection. Coordination of all NDE. Development of final code package. Miscellaneous Coordinate and oversee the testing of welders. Assure that welders are properly qualified on required procedures. Assure that required procedures are available for all work to be performed. Assist in development of any new procedures required. Perform Root Cause Investigations for any quality related deficiency. Act as main focal point for all quality related issues on site. Education and Experience Requirements High school education or equivalent. Requirements include a minimum of 4 years recent experience in an occupational function that has a direct relationship to welded assemblies fabricated to a recognized code or standard. 2 years of consistent Experience in a QA/QC Job Function. Current AWS CWI Certification. Per Diem: $115 paid 7 days a week during the transition. This is temporary and will expire 3 months from starting, must qualify to receive. (Note this is a local hire) Hours: Base 40 hours, but will work 50 hour weeks about 40% of the time, sometimes more during TA schedules. Certs: Must have CWI Additional info: Truck provided back and forth to and from location. 2023 F-150 Must be able to pass a DISA urine and hair follicle test along with a background check
