Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support by AHA is required BLS - Basic Life Support by AHA is required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support by AHA is required NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure is a requirement Tech Cert Verification - National required for applicable units HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement is required Acknowledgement of PassFail Testing required State License 1 Verification is necessary NIH Stroke Certification should be within 1 year of start and annually renewed Certification (Miscellaneous) is required Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) is required Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam necessary Physical Exam within 1 year of start and annually updated Negative TB or Chest X-Ray required Job Details Chesapeake is located in the beautiful area known as “Coastal Virginia.” Located Just minutes away from Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA Chesapeake is an outdoor lover’s paradise offering trails for all levels of hikers and over 20 waterways to explore MSTele RN needed for 2E Ortho/Bariatric/Colo-rectal post-op unit ASAP and for 13 weeks with possible extension Nights weekdays, EOW, float, holidays within contract Must be EPIC proficient - FIRM, no exceptions Skills: IV start, Telemetry Interpretation, Ortho experience strongly preferred 2 years experience required, travel experience preferred Ratios - 1:7 Scrub Color - Royal Blue (not provided) Job Requirements BLS required (must be via American Heart Association) Schedule Information 3x12 OR 4x12 (OT after 48 on 4x12) Please indicate candidate preference Unit Specific Information Unit: 2E Ortho/Bariatric/Colo-rectal post-op Additional Details I9 required for direct placements.
