The Undersea Platform Analysis Group (UPAG), within the Sea, Land, Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices and key stakeholders surrounding submarine platform construction. Team Submarine unifies submarine platform procurement activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program and the new SSN-X program (developing the next generation attack submarine), to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting Team Submarine will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force, as well as supporting oversight of cutting-edge attack submarine construction, assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future, and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition. UPAG has an immediate need for a Program Analyst for the Common Missile Compartment branch under the COLUMBIA SSBN Program Office; this role is located in Washington DC (Navy Yard with potential for light telework). Responsibilities

The Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic support to the COLUMBIA SSBN Program Office Construction Group CMC branch in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction, certification, and sustainment activities required for the Strategic Weapon Support Systems (SWSS) for the newest class of SSBNs for both the United Kingdom (UK) Royal Navy and United States (US) Navy as part of the Polaris Sales Agreement (PSA). Responsibilities may include: Facilitate periodic program reviews between both the US and UK government stakeholders to address status of key CMC program milestones. Draft formal reports and presentations for Program Leadership on CMC related topics. Act as a government client representative at meetings with other government and contractor stakeholders pertaining to CMC related activities. Participate in visits to SWSS component vendors and prime shipbuilders to identify and address potential impacts to delivery performance affecting both the UK and US build programs. Coordinate with NAVSEA technical community on adjudication of liabilities impacting construction and testing activities of SWSS products at prime shipbuilder. This position is located in Washington DC Navy Yard, with potential for travel. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Range: $90-$120k. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or relevant technical field. 3+ years in engineering or technical program analysis experience. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze and represent data and communicate to decision makers. Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment. Desired Qualifications: Experience working on submarine or undersea related programs. Experience with Defense Acquisition System DoD 5000 series and Navy or DoD program planning and/or Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes. Experience drafting formal correspondence per the Navy Correspondence Manual.
