Senior Account Executive, Content (PR/Communications)
Minimum Requirements
Education: College degree; or equivalent related business experience Minimum of 3 years content/writing experience, with an emphasis in the financial services sector Proven writing skills that clearly demonstrate the ability to convey a message in the appropriate voice and tone to an audience in an engaging, organized manner Proven ability to prioritize work, handle details accurately, follow up, and complete tasks within deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency in various software applications; including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications Knowledge of PR related software including but not limited to Cision, Meltwalter, Trendkite, etc Responsibilities
The Senior Account Executive of Content is responsible for development of messaging platforms with narrative pillars, editorial, and other creative content for the Company and assigned clients. Must be an honorable steward of the JConnelly brand, consistently representing and reflecting the Company's core values, approach and high standards of excellence in all client, media and public interactions. Authoring and editing thought leadership content for financial publications and other popular financial outlets including bylines and press releases. Independently writes, co-writes, ghost-writes, and/or edits content and marketing strategy documents for the Company and/or its clients; including byline articles, opinion and thought leadership pieces, press releases, story angles, client bios and talking points. Works with PR team members to gather information for a variety of pre-determined writing projects, deliver client-ready copy, and revise existing materials; finalizes with the team before sharing with clients. Assists in maintaining consistency of branding and marketing messages across all client materials. Assists in updating client content files; including revised messaging narrative and campaign communications pillars, templates, bios, etc. Provides quality work product by assigned deadline and communicates effectively about progress of assigned tasks. Attend client meetings or meetings with executives/spokespeople to present communications, messaging narratives and ongoing client correspondence as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
