The Opportunity:
As the Tax Manager, you’ll be the tactical and strategic tax leader, reporting directly to the owner and Managing Partner. You’ll play a key role in developing tax strategies, streamlining processes, and building lasting relationships with clients. This is a leadership role where your voice will matter, and your ideas will shape the future of the tax practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead tax planning, compliance, and consulting for a range of small to mid-sized businesses.
- Provide expertise on complex partnership and pass-through entity tax issues.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to help clients navigate their unique challenges.
- Proactively identify process improvements and drive efficiencies across the firm.
- Cultivate strong client relationships with consistent and meaningful interaction.
- Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals, ensuring quality control and adherence to best practices.
Who You Are:
- Experienced: You have at least 6+ years of experience in a CPA firm environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strategic: You’re always looking for opportunities to improve processes, find efficiencies, and deliver better results for clients.
- Client-Focused: You enjoy consistent client interaction and thrive on building strong relationships.
