Technical Product Manager - Warehouse Management
Full-time Acumatica is looking for a
Technical Product Manager – Warehouse Management
with expertise in business management software and deep knowledge of order management, inventory control, supply chain management, and warehouse management. The Technical Product Manager must have a passion for understanding the needs of mid-sized business customers and helping Acumatica deliver the requirements. The Warehouse Management Technical Product Manager will help manage the product roadmap and gather feedback by working with Acumatica customers while keeping an eye on competitors and evolving technology. After speaking with stakeholders, the Technical Product Manager will define product requirements, and evangelize the distribution solution within the Acumatica community. What the job entails: Product Planning and Development Visit and speak with customers, partners, and internal teams to understand processes related to purchasing, order management, inventory management, replenishment, and warehouse operations. Drive a solution set across development and marketing teams through product requirements, user personas, product planning, and communication. Work with Business Analysts and engineering to ensure functional specifications meet product requirements. Work with Engineering to review product feature development progress and ensure what is being built meets product requirements. Monitor feature usage telemetry to better understand how users are using product capabilities for further enhancements. Create, maintain, and present product roadmaps. Market Analysis Perform competitive product analysis and assessment comparisons. Visit existing Customers and Partners to gather requirements and gain market knowledge. Gain knowledge by managing focus groups, community engagement, user groups, and advisory boards. Document and present product requirements. Program Management Participate and deliver events and seminars. Ensure sales and partners are properly trained to ensure market success. Become a subject matter expert for distribution capabilities and processes. Product Launch Readiness Execute new product release activities and coordination across the entire organization. Identify early adopters and manage the beta release process. Review documentation and training materials and provide feedback and guidance to education teams. Review output of the Quality Assurance group to ensure the needs of customers, prospects, partners, and markets are built and delivered to a high level of satisfaction. Work with marketing to properly message new features in the market by developing sales tools such as videos, fact sheets, data sheets, and more. Qualifications: You have 3+ years of product management experience in business applications, in the ERP space. You have at least 5 years domain experience in the distribution vertical markets and product experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain management. You have experience working with engineering in delivering outstanding products. You enjoy spending time in the market to understand how customers use Acumatica and apply that knowledge to build and evangelize innovative solutions. You have experience working with cross-discipline, geographically dispersed teams. You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy. You are detail-oriented and organized, with strong decision-making and time-management skills. You have large company experience that you would like to apply to a smaller team. You know how to build an action plan, lay out goals, strategies, tactics, and timelines. You are self-driven and realistic about your goals.
