Project Manager
Our client is a banking institution based in Boston, MA looking to hire a Project Manager. This individual will define, develop and successfully execute upon projects critical to the success of the client's program. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills as they will have visibility across multiple groups, so being able to communicate effectively across different teams is essential. This role includes remote working arrangements and some required travel, which may vary during project phases.
Responsibilities:
Develop project plans, risk registers, actions, scope charter and resourcing needs.
Identify critical path items, mitigation strategies and alternative approaches that align with the clients goals.
Lead project delivery and manage implementation processes including status, testing, and release.
Manage and coordinate project resources in a matrixed environment.
Identify and monitor cross project dependencies, risks, issues and build in mitigation plans.
Develop and maintain key relationships and create a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in technology project management working with MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams and Excel.
Understanding of SDLC using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Proven success in executing full life-cycle large, complex, multi-year projects.
Collaborative team player but also autonomously with little direction.
Comfortable facilitating and leading discussions with large groups.
Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Continuous Testing best practices is a plus.
PMI certification and Agile certifications is preferred.
