Position Summary:
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) leads, oversees, and ensures the successful delivery and management of single or multiple technical projects. The TPM will manage projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints, dynamically adapting to deliver business value.
This position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Facilitate the gathering and validation of project requirements.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
- Develop and maintain detailed work plans and project timelines.
- Establish work plans and staffing for project phases, arranging for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years of technical project management experience with a thorough understanding of project management principles and IT practices
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile)
- PMP certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire
- Experience with or familiarity of cybersecurity
- Knowledge and experience using project management software and tools
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in information technology, cybersecurity, business, or related field required
- Ability to obtain and retain an Security Clearance
