As the Project Manager for Access Services, you’ll:
Be responsible for supporting process improvements in scheduling operations across Access Services, including assessment, focused analytics (e.g. staffing levels), design and support in implementation.
Work with departmental (Physician/faculty, Administrator and other clinical staff) and site leadership (Patient Access Manager) to design and implement improvement initiatives focused on streamlining scheduling operations and meeting Access Services performance goals.
Roll out scheduling related projects, which includes an outcomes driven approach to work planning, overall project management and ongoing monitoring.
Support new practice and physician set-up (e.g. master template development, protocols, dictionary work, etc).
Work with departmental physicians and administrative leadership to optimize and maintain physician master templates, including check-ups to ensure templates continue to meet physician needs.
Identify and schedule training needs and inform the content of training for the training department.
Communicate scheduling related topics to the JHHS practices.
What you’ll bring:
4+ years’ relevant work experience in practice management or clinical operations, with a minimum of 3 years’ of health care, business or IT experience required.
Bachelor degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Ability to interact with all levels of leadership including presentations.
Familiarity with basic principles of project management, Six Sigma or other operational improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word applications including Excel and Word, Outlook or equivalent e-mail, and internet usage.
Keen analytical thinking and excellent communication and change management skills.
Understanding and use of an analytic driven process to develop recommendations that are both meaningful and actionable.
Thoughtful and practical approach to problem-solving.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Skills in work prioritization and management, including work planning.
About us:
Salary Range: Minimum 30.60 per hour - Maximum 50.53 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
