The Save Mart Companies is one of the largest food and drug retailers in California and Nevada. It is home to several well-known brands in food retailing. You might have seen our stores that include Save Mart, Lucky, Lucky California, and Food Maxx. We also have 3 distribution centers and our SMART Transportation trucking firm that transports dry groceries, frozen foods, ice, and novelties to all of The Save Mart Companies stores. The Center Store Market Manager will enthusiastically lead and develop a highly motivated team focused on passionately serving guests with a primary emphasis on the overall Center Store guest experience and team member engagement to consistently meet or exceed guest expectations and "Voice of the Customer” Metrics. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Positively directs all center store operations, conditions, product quality, and optimal inventory conditions to provide our guest with a great shopping experience. Develops, inspires and leads by example all center-store team members to promote an environment that exemplifies Save Mart’s valley proud and people first culture. Manages all center store operations, oversees and directs team members to meet or exceed expected service and performance levels. Ensures compliance with Company sanitation, safety, security and other policies. Proactively addresses and is accountable for achieving center store financials (sales, profit and loss, projections, metrics, and analysis) goals. Responsible for center store visual merchandising, plan implementation, organization and is accountable for all sign and price processes and accuracy. In collaboration with the Store Business Partner, manages and directs the in-store training for all center-store team members. Supervises, coaches and mentors all center store team member in the performance of their duties. Facilitates the development and implementation of the weekly work schedules for all center-store team members. Spend no more than 25% of their work time performing non-exempt tasks. Performs other duties as assigned. Hiring pay range: $70,345.00 - 101,182.00 Skills:

High School Diploma (or G.E.D. equivalent). Knowledge gained through formal education or certification (i.e. RMCP), specialized retail training, or additional grocery retail experience; some college is preferred. Experience:
3 years equivalent management experience, or 2 years in a current perimeter department manager role, and a minimum of six months experience in another department is preferred. Physical:
Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis. Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and use stairs. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance, and reaching and pulling objects. Other:
