We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Irvine, California. This role resides in the mortgage industry and the work location is based onsite. The role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and managing customer inquiries, among other tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of executed closing documents.
• Verifying funds due from consumers and if not received, notifying the relevant individuals.
• Ensuring the quality of scanned documents and making them web viewable.
• Ensuring all state and county requirements are met.
• Reviewing title commitments to ensure all title requirements have been met.
• Verifying and reading all notes in Curative\Insured and Closing products and ensuring all requirements are met.
• Creating notes for all files reviewed and creating tasks for corrections, if needed.
• Reviewing and attaching trailing mail and corrections to the appropriate orders and submitting corrections to lender per their specifications.
• Approving the shipping of packages to lenders after review.
• Elevating problem files to audit rejections for resolution.
• Assisting in maintaining the settlement review group box.
• Interacting effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers by email, phone, and in person.• Familiarity with 10 Key Skills is essential for this role.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Proficiency in Data Entry is necessary.
• Ability to manage Email Correspondence efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.
• Ability to organize files effectively.
• Ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Experience in Scanning documents is necessary.
• Excellent typing skills are required.
