Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update data into company databases.
- Verify accuracy of data provided by departments and rectify discrepancies.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files and records.
- Prepare reports based on data analysis and provide insights to management.
- Assist in developing data entry procedures and guidelines.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and security.
- Communicate with team members regarding data requirements and updates.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with database systems and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
