Job Description:
The Data Entry Customer Service Representative will handle customer interactions while ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the company’s systems. This role combines customer service with administrative responsibilities, supporting various departments to maintain customer satisfaction and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Accurately input customer information, orders, and updates into databases.
- Maintain customer records by verifying data and correcting discrepancies.
- Provide assistance and support to other departments as needed for data entry tasks.
- Follow up with customers to confirm service satisfaction and update records as necessary.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and follow data protection protocols.
- Generate reports based on data collected and support routine administrative tasks.
Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in office administration or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service and data entry roles preferred.
- Strong typing and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data entry software.
