RiverTech, an Akima company is looking for a Credential Production/Data Entry Clerk to support the National Maritime Center (NMC) in Martinsburg, WV. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities - Acts as a Receiving clerk and processes incoming mail and packages.
- Prepares and processes all outgoing mail and packages.
- Processes Merchant Mariner credentialing applications.
- Produces Merchant Mariner credentials and medical certificates.
- Creates and manages official Merchant Mariner records (electronic and paper based).
- Records storage/upkeep.
- Prepares Mariner records for archiving, correspondence and documentation.
- Completes data entry - related to the credentialing process.
Qualifications - Current Public Trust is preferred but not required to apply.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year business/office experience.
- Must be familiar with performing Quality Control (QC) verification.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus.
