In support of this program, the U.S. Coast Guard National Maritime Center (NMC) in Martinsburg, you will be providing technical and administrative support services. Responsibilities In support of this program, the NMC-2 Exam Team Clerk provides technical and administrative support services that includes a variety of tasks that includes: Save and upload mariner exams. Work in and update databases and other USCG systems. Review, edit and quality check mariner exams to meet specific formattingrequirements. Process exam challenges and comments. Record storage/upkeep and preparing Mariner records for archiving. Process, as needed - Open Book Renewal Examination requests. Qualifications A current Public Trust is preferred; or the select candidate must be able to obtain. Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of one (1) year business/office experience. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro. Must be familiar with Microsoft Access. Must have good Customer Service and Communication Skills. Must be able to bend and lift up to 30 pounds. Intermediate or Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
