Palm Desert CPA Firm is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. Must be very organized, responsible, and self-motivated. Able to work as a team player and report to/take direction from the administrator. (Hourly wage commensurate with experience and education).

Responsibilities:

  • Answering the telephone and greeting clients in a professional manner
  • Filing, Data Entry, Typing, Correspondence and other General Office Duties
  • Scheduling appointments/maintaining office calendar
  • Copying/Scanning tax/financial records and other client documents
  • Maintaining due date lists and client database
  • Monitoring and tracking tax returns/financial statements

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
  • Strong time management and work organization skills required
  • Flexibility with the ability to multi-task required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in working in an accounting/tax firm or professional office
  • 2-3 years of experience in Administrative Assistance / General Office Work
  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent
