Palm Desert CPA Firm is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. Must be very organized, responsible, and self-motivated. Able to work as a team player and report to/take direction from the administrator. (Hourly wage commensurate with experience and education).
Responsibilities:
- Answering the telephone and greeting clients in a professional manner
- Filing, Data Entry, Typing, Correspondence and other General Office Duties
- Scheduling appointments/maintaining office calendar
- Copying/Scanning tax/financial records and other client documents
- Maintaining due date lists and client database
- Monitoring and tracking tax returns/financial statements
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Strong time management and work organization skills required
- Flexibility with the ability to multi-task required
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in working in an accounting/tax firm or professional office
- 2-3 years of experience in Administrative Assistance / General Office Work
- Possess high school diploma or equivalent
