Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data from diverse sources to inform decision making

• Collaborate with business partners to identify key business requirements that will drive the design, development, implementation, and delivery of models, quantitative analyses, and other analytical solutions

• Communicate results and findings effectively with non-technical business partners

• Use statistical programming such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, etc. to conduct statistical and analytic techniques including regression, clustering, classification, etc.

• Manage cloud-based model training and production

• Utilize traditional and modern platforms including cloud storage and compute technologies

• Develop and maintain intermediate to advanced SQL skills

• Provide thought leadership and education to business partners regarding analytic best practices

• Identify, report, and escalate risks to manager and stakeholders appropriately

• Enable enterprise roll out of advanced analytic capabilities.

• Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Data Science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SAS, SPSS is essential
• Must have thorough knowledge and experience in Algorithm Implementation
• Proficiency in Data Visualization tools and techniques is required
• Hands-on experience with Analytics is a must
• Applicant should have a deep understanding of Regression Analysis
• Expertise in Microsoft Clustering is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Classification Algorithms is necessary
• Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Cloud Storage is required
• Proficiency in SQL is essential
• Prior experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry is preferable
• Knowledge and experience in utilizing SPSS Statistics is beneficial
