Job Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts. The role also includes generating insights and identifying improvements through the use of analytics technology and policy and procedure documentation.
NO REMOTE OPPORTUNITY -- HYBRID (3 days in office )
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Legal Operations team, with a focus on reporting and invoice processing.
• Collaborate with the Legal Operations Manager and other Legal Operations Analysts on executing daily tasks related to the Legal Departments billing system, ONIT.
• Assist in the delivery of the Legal Department's monthly accruals process from end to end.
• Generate insights and identify programmatic and process improvements.
• Document enhancements through policy and procedures.
• Employ analytics technology to support process improvements.
• Engage in data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various functions, including data analysis and reporting.
• Support training initiatives related to the electronic billing system.
• Ensure adherence to finance and billing procedures.
• Utilize tools such as Tableau and Power BI to deliver insights and competitor analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Data Entry, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail• Strong skills in Documentation and Reporting, with the ability to present information clearly and concisively
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience in delivering Training to team members, enhancing their understanding of Operations and Procedures
• Understanding of Policy creation and implementation, with a focus on adherence and compliance
• Proficiency in Analytics, with the ability to interpret data and provide valuable insights
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), specifically in relation to the 'About Time' software
• Background in Finance, with an understanding of Billing systems and procedures
• Solid skills in Data Analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations based on findings
• Experience managing relationships with Suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of products/services
• Track record of Process Improvement, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes
• Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and analysis
• Comfortable working Onsite, with a focus on collaboration and team engagement
• Experience conducting Competitor Analysis, identifying market trends and opportunities for growth
• Skills in Enhancement, specifically in relation to improving processes and procedures
• Familiarity with Zoom for conducting virtual meetings and presentations
• Experience with Invoice Processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Ability to extract Insights from data, informing strategic decision making
• Knowledge of Billing Systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency
