Job Description:
The main part of this role is inventory and logistics for the DC teams in Santa Clara.
- Spare part cycle count audits
- Logistics/Warehouse Support (Sending/Receiving)
- Handle storage media/Data Bearing Device (DBD) Reconcile/Physical Audits
- MS Asset updates/auditing
Some of the opportunity that exists is learning and getting involved with the following:
- Fiber Link Cleaning
- Basic Server (Discrete/Rack-based) repair following documented procedures
- Middle of Rack (MOR) buildout
- Data-bearing Device shredding
Unboxing and staging devices, cables, equipment
Tagging and scanning
Inventory Management assistance
Outbound shipments- boxing and prep
Staging equipment in the data halls
