Data Center Technician Job at TEKsystems in Atlanta

Description:

- Server/Network/rPDU device rack, stack and cable incl. Cable Management

- Rack/MOR Cabling - General supervised Deployment support

- Decommission IT equipment (server and network under supervision), DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning)

- Physical audits of datacenter assets

- Basic Server (Discrete/Rack-based) repair following documented procedures

- Physically assist in moving and racking equipment

- Maintain data center facilities removing debris and empty boxes once no longer needed

- Hard drive shredding

- Moving Locked DBD Bins to shred area

- Audit and inventory management support & spine clean up

- Physical audit of drinks/stationary on campus and reorder as necessary through CBRE/Staples

- Perform rack movement
