Night Warehouse Manager
will ensure the warehouse complies with the company's policies and vision. The incumbent will oversee receiving and maintenance operations while setting up the layout to ensure efficient space utilization throughout the facility. You will: Oversee the loading of trucks efficiently, accurately, and on time. Monitor picker productivity of selectors while pulling orders. Provide productivity incentive calculations to HR to include with payroll. Maintain and enforce a safe work environment. Maintain physical condition of the warehouse. Communicate with day shift managers and other department heads to ensure needs are met while optimal workflow is kept. Assist in the interview process of candidates and conduct proper training for new hires. Maintain employee productivity by coaching and counseling. Communicate safety concerns to the Safety Manager. Conduct weekly safety huddles. Monitor and manage employee overtime to keep to a minimum. Ensure employee success through relationship building, effective communication, positive recognition, and timely addressing of issues (personal and performance-related). Conduct accident/incident interviews with warehouse staff. Review weekly Power Bi metrics with employees in a one-on-one setting to ensure performance goals are met. Work with the Branch Operations Manager to discuss new potential goals for the team. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
You have: Bilingual, Spanish/English required A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of warehouse management experience Process improvement expertise Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases Strong problem-solving skills Safety management and inventory control skills Excellent communication skills We offer a dynamic environment for our more than 7,500 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally.
