BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will design, implement, and maintain data warehouses for Alden’s custom-developed software.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the product and customer teams to create data warehouses that enable data-driven business decisions. Includes data aggregation and OLAP cubes
- Assist/Train internal and external personnel who build Power BI dashboards, in accessing and understanding the available data.
- Work with product and marketing teams to evolve company offerings that make use of the data.
- Analyze data for patterns, trends, knowledge for actionable insights.
- Work with internal teams to create data warehouses for company data.
- Ability to drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
Current hands-on implementation experience required:
- Data warehouse architecture and design – including the Kimball method
- Row-level Security and a multi-tenant system.
- SQL and SSIS
- Azure Datawarehouse and SQL OLAP Services
- Azure Data Factory
- Power BI Services
