Engagement Coordinator - Central California The Center for Caregiver Advancement (CCA) is California's leading supporter of long-term care workers. We cultivate a diverse community of indispensable, empowered caregivers. For over two decades, CCA has been at the forefront of an equity-driven movement for quality training and quality jobs. CCA is one of the largest providers of training for long-term caregivers in California, training over 35,000 home care and nursing home caregivers in the past 20 years. A key component of CCA is the Education Fund. This initiative develops partnership systems in which skilled nursing facility employers collaborate seamlessly with SEIU Local 2015. Together, we support training programs for caregivers statewide. We aim to empower workers, enhance skills, and improve the quality of life for consumers and residents. *ONLY California residents will be considered Position Overview: The Engagement Coordinator is a hybrid role requiring work in the field, home office, and virtual classroom settings. The Engagement Coordinator reports to the Engagement Manager. They will work within their specified California region/route, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to identify and assess potential training opportunities and programs that will drive performance and outcomes. Additionally, the Engagement Coordinator is required to travel within their assigned local region for in-person meetings. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Provide career, education, coaching, and case management to a diverse caseload of students with various barriers to secure successful outcomes. Screen applicants for basic eligibility, and collect and analyze relevant data. Support Virtual Classrooms providing assistance to instructors and students. Create and lead meetings on CCA/Education Fund programs and services to a diverse audience. Promote marketing/communications efforts to drive members (students) to program/project offerings. Develop CCA/Ed Fund presence with Local Workforce Development Boards (Employer, City, and State). Collaborate with CCA/Education Fund Directors to identify potential vendor partners and support the contract process, as needed. Participate in the execution of communication strategies to recruit and promote CCA/Education Fund programs and services. Maintain student and other stakeholder files in CCA/Education Fund and other Funder systems. Other assignments as required. Experience and Qualifications: Strong leadership, critical thinking, and coordination skills. Excellent prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially persuasion. Professional demeanor, with the ability to create rapport with various stakeholders. Must have a valid California driver's license, use of a vehicle, and maintain appropriate car insurance. Familiarity with project management concepts. Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zoom, Blackboard Learn, and other relevant software. Knowledge of Labor Market trends, both regionally and with employers. Experience in a union and labor-management partnership is preferred. Prior experience as a sales representative preferred. Physical endurance to travel between nursing homes and be on their feet for a long time. A high level of diplomacy is required. Transportation: Possession of a valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation with appropriate car insurance. Generous Benefits:
