We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance performance.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency in materials handling and inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory movements and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote an efficient work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations and best practices.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety standards.
- Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for effective inventory management.
- Experience with materials handling equipment and techniques.
- Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Knowledge of AS400 systems is a plus for managing data effectively.
