Duties

- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to move materials and products throughout the warehouse and distribution center.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking of products and materials.
- Utilize a warehouse management system to manage inventory and maintain a high level of organization in the warehouse.
- Perform heavy lifting and bending as required by the job.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and improve overall efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up to date on the latest equipment and procedures.

Skills

- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment, including pallet jacks and lift trucks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts and the ability to apply them to warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and navigate tight spaces.
- Proficiency in operating a Hi-Lo or clamp truck.
- Experience working in a distribution center or similar warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
