 Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or sketches to understand project specifications

  • Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project

  • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber according to measurements

  • Build shipping boxes, by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

  • Safely use tools such as nail gun and electrical saws

  • Operate reach forklift or ability to learn 

  • Also assist in warehouse shipping and receiving 

  • Comply with all company safety guidelines

Shift Info

  • Day Shift, 07:00am to 3:30pm

  • Monday - Friday

Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

  • Wood Worker experience a plus

  • 2-3 Years Experience in Picker / Packer position (NO job hopping over last 3 years)

  • Shipping and receiving experience required

  • Reach forklift operator experience a plus

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Able to work in the US

  • Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction a plus

  • Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
