Associate Director, Incentive Operations Bayer Pharmaceuticals is committed to delivering on its mission Health for All, Hunger for None by advancing a portfolio of innovative treatments. As we advance our operating model towards Dynamic Shared Ownership with an even stronger focus on customer oriented and mission-based work, the goal of the Incentives team is to shape and operationalize US Pharma Incentives for the Customer Engagement/Sales team as a key enabler to delivering on the revenue goal of $4BN by 2028. The Associate Director, Incentive Operations reports into the VP, Field Force Operations and is responsible to enable the operations of the Customer Engagement incentives strategy (which includes the core and supplemental plan design), reporting, execution and awards program (i.e. Pinnacle) for the therapeutic areas across US Pharma. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drive operational excellence across end-to-end IC processes in alignment with the functional goals and objectives; Manage the production, analysis and publication of Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly incentive reports such as IC scorecards, performance and ranking reports; Responsible for tracking the incentive budget providing accurate expense projections and accrual recommendations to finance; Consolidate payout summaries and tax submissions (for the annual Pinnacle award) to HR payroll team for processing; Manage IC production calendar ensuring activities remain on track and as per defined protocols to meet IC timelines; Drive synergies, process consistency and quality of services across all teams by standardizing IC deliverables; Establish strong processes and controls with interdependent cross functions (i.e. to ensure data accuracy); Maintain the Incentives policies by housing all documentation in the Incentives Sharepoint site and ensure audit readiness for all teams; Define specific business requirements for the incentive compensation technology needs and implement these with IC vendor platform; Continually optimize IC vendor platform for processing efficiency and provide field usage statistics of vendor tools; Assist with IC governance model and recommend industry benchmarks to review with field leadership; Support various projects across US Pharma as needed. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications
: BA/BS degree required with progressive working experience in the Healthcare or related industry; Experience in the execution of sales incentive plans in the healthcare or related industry required; Strong project management skills and attention to detail; Solution oriented and ability to solve operational challenges; Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams; Passionate about advancing the role of incentives to drive a new operating model; Proven analytical skills; Must be able to work under pressure to meet short timelines; Ability to maintain confidentiality where appropriate. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree Preferred; 5+ years of industry experience; Incentive Compensation design and development experience is preferred.
