Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. This role ensures efficient and accurate movement of goods, maintains inventory control, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload shipments, check items for accuracy and quality, and store products in designated areas in the warehouse.
  • Track inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and ensure that products are properly labeled and stored for easy retrieval.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and meeting customer requirements.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move goods within the warehouse.
  • Prepare shipping documents, label packages, and coordinate with carriers for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Work closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members to achieve operational goals and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Inspect products for damage or defects, reporting any discrepancies and ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment.
  • Process returns by inspecting items, documenting reasons for returns, and restocking or disposing of goods according to company policies.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Basic math and computer skills, ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Works in an ESD manufacturing environment.
  • Lift/carry/push/pull up to 20lbs.
  • Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head.
  • This position may require long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
