Warehouse Manager

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
FLSA: Non - Exempt
HOURS: Full-time
Position Summary
We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations at our Miami branch. The successful candidate will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products and ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly. Strong supervisory skills are required and the ability to work well with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving
Oversee receiving of goods and ensure accuracy of orders received
Enter products received in system and ensure items are stored in a timely manner in the correct warehouse locations
Deliveries
Oversee delivery schedules and orders, assist as needed with checking trucks to confirm they are properly loaded
Ensure trucks are out by scheduled times daily
Safety
Responsible for ensuring warehouse is clean, well maintained and organized.
Regularly inspect warehouse for safety issues
Provide ongoing safety training to staff
Prepare accident reports and make safety corrections as needed.
Management
Assign daily tasks and supervise warehouse staff
Coach, train and discipline staff on job duties and proper procedures
Review warehouse employees’ time and attendance
Miscellaneous
Daily cycle counts
Serve as backup to warehouse and delivery drivers and fill in when needed
Other duties as assigned
Other Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Forklift Certified
DOT HAZMAT Certified
FACTS knowledge a plus
At least two years' experience in warehousing
Must have the ability to lift and move products up to 50lbs
Flexible and adaptable to change
