The Director of Operations and Logistics reports directly to the VP, Operations. This position requires a strong leader who is willing to grow, motivate, and develop their team. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, goal-driven, and people-oriented. The typical day-to-day tasks for this role will involve developing production and capacity and passing these plans to team managers for execution. There will also be a heavy hand in overseeing outbound logistics to retail and third-party vendors. Daily activity will also involve frequent communications with retail and wholesale partners to optimize product offerings and drive sales. COMPENSATION

$124,000 - $160,000 Depending on Experience ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

React, respond, and provide guidance to VP, Operations for state level activities. Ensure flawless execution of New Product Introductions. Challenge the thought process and provide insight and reasoning behind recommendations and course corrections. Work collaboratively with department heads and step in where needed within different departments or cross-functionally to ensure operational goals are met. Hold managers accountable for maintaining staffing goals to ensure production targets are met. Assist production managers with weekly purchasing needs. Direct all purchase order requests to VP of Operations for approval. Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls. Supervise production managers and provide oversight of staff. Develop and drive daily continuous improvement (CI) processes in production by coaching teams and team members to take initiative to solve problems and improve their job. Provide oversight and support to supply chain needs to ensure cannabis and non-cannabis items are in stock to fulfill retail and wholesale demands. Meet all product stock level requests from Retail and Wholesale departments. Evaluate opportunities for improvement of existing automated equipment and introduce new technologies. Regularly review the state’s retail & wholesale sales performance and consistently take action to ensure production is meeting its obligations in support of company financial and operational goals. Work with Retail and Wholesale channels to build out and maintain strong product offerings. Partner with finance to ensure proper payment and agreements are maintained and when necessary, arbitrate new agreements. Drive positive morale, effective communication, and consistency within the entire team. Act responsibly and take accountability for own behavior, actions, and decisions. Promote and demonstrate cooperation and effective relationships at all levels in the organization. Craft and deliver clear and professional verbal and written communication within all formats (Outlook, Teams, Text, Meetings, 1:1, etc.). Communicate with appropriate audiences while maintaining confidentiality, sharing information as appropriate, and communicating with tact and diplomacy. Maintain an open-door policy. Be responsive and provide consistent and effective verbal and non-verbal communication. With collaboration from the Director of Compliance, ensure production is in full compliance with all State and Local laws; and consistently provide the leadership team with thorough up-to-date training on policy changes and evolving expectations. Implement and execute company policies and procedures. Support department heads with operational HR tasks including but not limited to onboarding and off-boarding, as well as coaching and mentoring employees. Oversee the timely execution of day-to-day logistics operations. QUALIFICATIONS

21+ and currently residing in the USA Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire) Bachelor's degree in business or industry training equivalent (preferred) Production Management experience, 5+ years (preferred) Consumer Packaged Goods Experience, 3+ years (preferred) Cannabis industry experience, 3+ years (preferred but not required) Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, & organizational skills Experience in a leading role in the implementation of a Lean Production System including problem-solving tools. Excellent knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costing methods, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. Excellent knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Strong team player who is capable of both managing and motivating teams. Detail-oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, & assessor. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. CSPC, CPIM, or other production-related certifications. Experience working in a regulated environment a plus. WORKING CONDITIONS

Fast-paced, rapidly changing, retail dispensary environment Front-facing, customer-care focused areas/stations Confined workstations near other people (employees, guests, vendors) and crowds Handling cannabis products and packaged goods Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities) *NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout the building.
