As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all goods are handled efficiently and accurately. You will uphold the organization’s standards for quality service, which is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the warehouse team. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will help ensure that our inventory is managed efficiently and that our facilities are kept in top condition.

•Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

•Check in materials and match purchase orders with received items.

•Determine items to be shipped or stored by reading and interpreting shipping orders.

•Assist in unloading trucks and determining material or item disseminating tasks.

•Move items from the receiving pallet to storage areas using forklifts or trolleys.

•Ability to operate forklift.

•Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, crouch or crawl.

•Regularly required to climb on ladders.

•Regularly lift and or move 10-50 lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.

•A High School Diploma or equivalent

•Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI’s in previous 5 years.

•This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions.

Special Demands/Physical Requirements:

This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position also requires crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to regularly lift and or move 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
