Schedule
- 1st Shift: 9AM - 5:30PM
- Monday - Sunday with Saturdays off
Pay Rate
- $18 / hour
Job Summary
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will ensure the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse staff, overseeing their day-to-day activities, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the overall success of the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
- Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.
- Oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns through coaching and mentoring.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfilment rates.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfilment, and inventory control.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with previous years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and software.
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices and experience in conducting cycle counts and audits.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required during warehouse operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.
